A Commitment Ceremony is between two people who love each other and wish to share their life together but are either unable to marry under Australia Law, or wish to celebrate their love without the legal implications of marriage.

Although a Commitment Ceremony is not legally binding, it gives same sex couples as well as heterosexual couples the opportunity to commit to each other without the legal paperwork.

A Commitment Ceremony can be almost identical to a traditional wedding ceremony in every other way.
